Hello, my name is Natalie!
Working to improve the lives of children has been my lifelong passion.
I am a certified, licensed and experienced speech and language pathologist living in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA. Having recently retired from the school district, I am continuing my journey serving children with speech and language disorders.
I have 17 years of experience working with children ages 2-18 in all areas of speech and language. I currently specialize in early intervention, speech sound disorders and stuttering, but am happy to work with any child who is struggling to communicate.

My Story
My calling to work with children's speech and language comes from a combination of the joy I experience working with children and my own struggles to communicate as a child.
My time as an instructional assistant in an elementary school system and my own experiences as a mother strengthened that calling - to help children learn to express themselves.

I received my Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Communicative Disorders from the California State University, Fullerton with various distinctions including:
-
B.A Summa Cum Laude
-
Outstanding Speech Communication Student
-
Certificate of Clinical Competence by the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA)
I worked for 8 years as a full-time Speech & Language Pathologist (SLP) at a private speech therapy clinic in Irvine, CA, providing services to children ages 2-18 with a variety of communication disorders.
I then moved on to the Santa Ana Unified School District for an additional 9 years, working with children in Kindergarten through Middle School.

In my personal life, I am happily married, have 2 wonderful children, and am a nana to my 3 grandchildren! During my free time, you can find me at the pickleball courts, a yoga studio, or out on a trail or bike path! I also enjoy good food with friends and family, and traveling (especially to see our children and grandchildren!)
